Pop Singer Shawn Mendes has recorded hit songs such as” It’ll Be Okay” and “Treat You Better.” Now the 23-year-old star is canceling his “Wonder tour” to focus on his Mental Health.
Shawn Mendes said, He was postponing three weeks of concerts on “July 8”. He also cancelled the remaining concerts this Wednesday.
As you know, I had to postpone the past few weeks of shows because I wasn’t prepared to deal with the stress of being back on the road. I started this tour excited to finally get back to playing live after a long break due to the pandemic, but the reality is that it turned out to be a lot harder than I expected, Mendes posted on Instagram.
“After talking with my team and working with some excellent medical professionals, it has become more and more apparent that I need to take time off to recover and come back stronger,” he said.
The tour started in June, and it continues across North America and Europe until 2023.
“We were hoping I could continue after a much-needed break, but I am putting my health first,” the star said.
“In April, Mendes published an open letter describing his ordeal, noting that he felt overwhelmed and overstimulated.”
