A 90-minute fundraising hour to benefit Special Olympics Texas

Dallas, TX – July 12, 2022 – Maverick Fitness Holdings, owner of 34 Orangetheory® Fitness studios in North Texas, along with Orangetheory Fitness studios across the state of Texas, will host Special Olympics Texas athletes for an exclusive 90-minute class at their studios on July 23 and 24, 2022. Orangetheory Members will pay $25 to participate in the class, with all proceeds going to Special Olympics Texas. Normal classes on Orangetheory last 60 minutes so this class will be an extra challenge for members. They also have the option to donate money to Special Olympics Texas if they can’t make the class.

Since the beginning of 2020, Orangetheory Fitness has continued to expand its partnership and support of Special Olympics Texas and their athletes. What started as a way for Orangetheory employees to get involved in their local community by volunteering at various events has transformed during the pandemic as a way for Special Olympics athletes across the country to stay engaged and focused on health and wellness during an extremely difficult time for everyone.

In 2021, as more in-person events begin to happen again, Orangetheory expanded its partnership with Special Olympics Texas by doing more for athletes and involving Orangetheory members throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. They continue that initiative today.
