Nestlé USA is voluntarily recalling a number of Toll House cookie dough products.
According to a notification on the FDA website, the item, which is sold all throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, is being recalled “because to the probable inclusion of white plastic particles.”
Although no illnesses or injuries have been recorded, the company said in a news release that it took prompt action out of an abundance of caution after a small number of customers complained to Nestlé USA about the problem.
Toll House Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Fudge Filling is the precise type of cookie dough that is being recalled. Products that were impacted were created between June and September. The recalled products’ packaging has a UPC code of 050000429912 on the rear.
You can return any of these items you already own to the merchant for a reimbursement or replacement. Call Nestlé USA at 800-681-1676 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET on Monday through Friday if you have any questions.
The recall does not affect any other goods made by Nestlé Toll House.
