This acquisition makes Warrior Rising the largest organization of veteran entrepreneurs in the country.
SALT LAKE CITY, July 12, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Warrior Rising, the nation’s leading entrepreneurial veteran nonprofit organization, just took a bold step forward by announcing that they have merged with VETtoCEO, another veteran nonprofit organization that provides training, mentoring and funding to transitioning veterans. The merger is a pivotal moment for Warrior Rising, which recently tripled the number of veterans who completed its training program and quadrupled the number of veterans it invited to its “business showers.” Warrior Rising Business Showers™ provide veteran entrepreneurs who have graduated from Warrior Academy® with an incredible opportunity to receive financial grants, custom suits, computers, headshots, website and marketing optimization, and a variety of other resources critical to starting a new business. .
“This is an exciting time for Warrior Rising and for the veterans we serve,” said Warrior Rising CEO, Jason VanCamp. “Every day we strive to find the best programs, mentorship and opportunities for our veteran entrepreneurs. Today we did it. I have long admired the work John Panaccione, Michael Horn, and the rest of the team at VETtoCEO. They share our values and have made a significant impact on the lives of veterans. I strongly believe that the programming experience they bring to Warrior Rising will strengthen our technical offerings to veterans and expand our reach. On the other hand, our well-developed infrastructure and corporate partnerships will significantly increase the impact of VETtoCEO’s work.”
Panaccione, co-founder of VETtoCEO, shares Van Camp’s excitement, “The combination of VETtoCEO and Warrior Rising offers military members and veterans an unprecedented opportunity to explore small business ownership as a viable career path after leaving military service. Our signature, cohort accelerator program, which has helped over 5,000 participants in over 40 cohort, adds tremendous value to existing Warrior Rising programs—and vice versa. This new combined program sets the highest possible standard for a quality experience for today’s military members and veterans. In doing so, we help America by developing the transition of veterans from military leaders to small business leaders and providing a seamless path to transition into small business ownership and community engagement.”
Panaccione and Horn look forward to making a difference at Warrior Rising as senior leaders on the program team.
